Interfaith's Volunteer of the Year 2008
Ben Shiner

On Friday, June 6, 2008, Ben Shiner was honored as our Gold Leaf Volunteer of the year for Interfaith Community Council, Inc. through the Community Foundation of Southern Indiana.
Ben has been a part of Interfaith's ministry for decades! He helped to form this organization into what it is today; adding needed programs like Family Services, merging Youth Development and others to form our organization. He has been with us through the tough times and the good times, and remains a strong ambassador for ICC.
Ben currently serves on ICC's Foundation Board; as the Family Services Council liaison to the ICC Board of Directors and serves on the ICC Executive Committee. Ben has held nearly every office possible with ICC - except that of a paid employee. Ben has completed well over 4,000 hours of service with ICC and ICCF.
In addition to serving at ICC, Ben has spent innummerable hours in service to the Boy Scouts. Pictured below is Ben on outings with his troop.

Ben is a real blessing to Interfaith Community Council, Inc. and this community. We are truly grateful for his dedicated service.
Congratulations and Thank You! |
