We have many openings for Retired Senior Volunteers in a variety of settings. A sampling of RSVP services ...

    • Bookkeeping
    • Budget Counseling
    • Call shut-ins
    • Deliver meals to the homebound
    • Fill orders at area food pantries
    • Help at bloodmobiles
    • Help in offices
    • Help in preschools and Headstart
    • Help with activities at nursing and retirement homes
    • Keep our parks clean and manicured
    • Knit or crochet items for needy babies and children
    • Mentor youth
    • Performing Short Skits for schoolchildren
    • Prepare bulk mailings for nonprofits
    • Read to children
    • Repair homes and build ramps
    • Sew lap robes, bibs and gowns for nursing home residents and the homebound
    • Sing and play musical instruments
    • Staff the Angel Trees
    • Staff the hospital gift shops and information desks
    • Teach computers to seniors
    • Transport people to doctor visits, the grocery store and more
    • Tutor adults and children
    • Visit nursing home residents
    • Work in libraries -- shelving books, entering data or holding book sales
    • Wrap gifts
